Alongside Château La Fleur de Bouard, the estate’s flagship wine, is Le Plus, produced in small quantities and representing the quintessence of the terroir, made from the oldest vines. Le Lion, made from younger vines, is a wine for pure enjoyment, bursting with fruit.
Next comes the Bordeaux Chardonnay, crafted in the purest Burgundian tradition—charming, round, and elegant, with a distinct character—conceived by Hubert de Bouard, who draws heavily on Burgundian wines and winemaking practices.
Château La Fleur de Boüard is coming into its own, and is now the pillar of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation.
A long ageing period of 33 months in barrel, including 18 months on fine lees, gives this wine finesse and smoothness.
With perfect balance and freshness.
Le Lion de La Fleur de Boüard is made from the estate’s young vines. The estate’s second wine since 2011, it is made by fermentation and gentle, gravity-feed extraction in small inverted truncated-cone tanks.
After careful plot selection, precise sorting in the vineyard and harvesting in small crates, the Chardonnay grapes are pressed directly, then vinified in French oak barrels and aged in these barrels for 10 months.
Reminiscent of the remarkable wines of the Côtes du Rhône, the Syrah blossoms and releases its sunny, generous aromas. The vines are worked with great care, with an initial selection in the vineyard and hand picking.
Inspired by the elegant wines of Burgundy, Hubert de Boüard decided to plant Pinot Noir in the Bordeaux region.
After careful plot selection, precise sorting in the vineyard and harvesting in small crates, the Chardonnay grapes are pressed directly, then vinified in French oak barrels and aged in these barrels for 10 months.
The Sauvignon follows a similar technical procedure to the Chardonnay: a work of consistency and precision with notes of vine peaches, crunchy pears and fine touches of ripe lemon.
Château du Rosaire is composed of a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
With 14 hectares of hillside vines in one block, facing south/south-east and set on a magnificent clay-limestone terroir, molasse on a bed of clay and Périgord sand.
